Crescent Building Services was founded by Mr. Rohan de Freitas and Mr. Luis Segarra as one of the Crescent Companies in 2013. As a Sister company of Crescent Consulting, and Crescent Energy, a 100% Minority Owned Consulting Management Services firm, Rohan and Luis continue their prominence on providing exemplary services to their clients. Crescent Building Services specializes in Site Safety Management of Construction Projects and Local Law 11 Safety Oversight, and Joint Venture Blending of Construction Personnel such as Project and Asst. Project Managers, Project & Asst. Supers, Schedulers, Estimators, etc.

Crescent’s Partners and Staff have extensive years of experience in the professional arena as administrative management consultants for the construction industry. Crescent Building Services’ prime responsibility will be to secure the workplace by performing hazard assessments, identifying risks, eliminating hazards, creating safety policies, and providing training and ongoing education about safety issues. Additionally, Crescent ensures all logs are updated daily and in compliance with all Department of Building Codes.

Our services include but are not limited to the following:

Crescent employs and provides the proper certified professional (NYC Certified Site Safety Manager/Coordinator, Fire Safety Manger, Fire Guard, Concrete Safety Manager, etc.) to manage safety for a project from Inception to Completion. We provide Full Time and Part Time Personnel.

Enforcement    

Our Safety Managers enforce rules regarding wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safeguard machinery, and maximize fall protection where necessary. Safety managers perform inspections, audits and tests to make sure equipment and machinery are functioning without defect.

Incident Reporting    

Our Safety Managers are in charge of receiving incident reports and investigating hazards. Work-related accidents, injuries and illnesses must be reported so that the safety manager can diffuse any safety risk on site.

Log-in Binders    

All information is logged in the daily logs; deficiency notices, recommendation logs, safety alerts, safety meetings & accident reports, and sent out electronically.

CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY MANAGERS / COORDINATORS Crescent provides Licensed Site Safety Managers as required on new construction or demolition sites on major buildings and Façade Repair. We have several, licensed, highly trained and competent site safety managers with the ability to quickly fill your requirements for your project.

CONSTRUCTION SITE FIRE SAFETY MANAGERS The new FDNY Law now requires that Construction Site fire safety managers be designated by the owner at any construction site for which the Building Code requires a site safety manager or site safety coordinator. We have several, licensed, highly trained and competent Construction Site Fire Safety Managers who will work hand in hand with the Site Safety Manager on a Major Construction Project.

FIRE GUARD F-60 / WATCHPERSON Crescent will provide the necessary Fire Guards and Watchmen on a project when necessary to oversee all aspects of hot work operation and overnight watch.
